Meet Our Trainers
Gerald Carney is certified group exercise instructor & ACE Certified Personal Trainer. He enjoys working with all age groups and loves to see more mature age groups get back in shape. He believes weight resistance training is the most efficient way to build muscle tone and reduce weight. He is certified to work with cancer survivors and pre-diabetic conditions. Some additional continuing education certifications include assessment, core training and low back disorders. Gerald also teaches the Slow Flow class for its balance and many health improvements.
Rachael Dolby is the MAC Fitness Coordinator. She is a nationally certified AFAA Fitness Instructor who has a passion for helping others meet their goals. She has been married for 14 years and is blessed with two beautiful children. When not working out, she enjoys reading, being at the beach and spending time with her family.
Darren Doud is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, specializing in sports performance. Darren’s passion is helping athletes become the best they can be. He’s been into sports and fitness his whole life playing football, basketball and holding a black belt in multiple styles of martial arts. Darren spent the last 10 years coaching High School football- from strength & conditioning to Head Coach and everything in between. He is currently the Running Backs coach for Clearwater Academy International.
Stephanie Long is nationally certified with AFAA as a personal trainer. She loves having the opportunity to work one-on-one with clients and be able to inspire and educate them to live happier and healthier lives. Her goal is to support and motivate you during every step of your fitness journey. She enjoys helping people of all fitness levels become the best versions of themselves by creating a fun environment where you are challenged and feel accomplished after every workout. Stephanie is married and has a son. In her free time she loves reading, crafting, and spending time outdoors with her family.
Patty Romano is nationally certified with ACE as a Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor. Additionally, she’s certified in Spinning, Barre and SMR. Patty believes that anyone can change their body no matter what size, shape or age. She thinks it’s important to do strength training and cardio workouts as well as yoga to keep the body and the mind strong and balanced. She teaches second grade at Dover school and when she’s not working out, she enjoys dancing ballroom, Argentine Tango and salsa.
Charlene Thompson is a Nationally Certified Personal Trainer w/Cooper Institute and NFPT (National Federation Personal Trainers) for over 19 years. She’s been a Group Fitness Instructor with AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America) for 25 plus years. Charlene is also a certified Spinning Instructor with Madd Dogg Athletics for the last 15 plus years and a Real Ryder Coach for the past 3 years. She was just recently certified as an Active Aging Coach as well. She’s the proud mother of 4 beautiful daughters. Her love in life is being able to help others continue with a healthy lifestyle and reach their fitness goals.
